FROM THE WEST VIA ROUTE 2:
Take Route 2 eastbound to the end of the expressway in Cambridge. As you pass the Lake St., Arlington, exit, get to the left, and bear left at the light onto Route 16 eastbound. At the first light, turn right on Massachusetts Ave. ("Mass. Ave."). We're 1.1 miles, across the street on your left. After you pass the light at Rindge Ave. (Pemberton Market is on the corner) you may want to consider parking. You're still several blocks away, but parking becomes increasingly difficult as you approach.
If you're delivering books you have for sale (please only do so if you've called first, as we don't always have a buyer available), get to the left after you've passed Rindge Ave. / Pemberton Market. Continue past the light at Walden St. (no left turn possible) and a blinking light (opposite a firehouse). Turn left at the next light, Beech St. From Beech, turn right on Orchard St., and right again on Allen St. Our delivery entrance is the last door on the right, just before the end of the street. Pull in past it if you can, or at least get as far forward toward it as you can. Come around to the front door to let us know you're there, or call us on your cell phone at 617-229-5641.
Note: Don't park in the Porter Square Shopping Center lot unless you're shopping there. It's very congested and is patrolled.
